Franks. General Hospital (commonly abbreviated GH) is an American daytime
television medical drama. This show was created by husband-and-wife Frank and
Doris Hursley. This show was the second TV serial to air on ABC after the
short-lived Road to Reality. In 1964, an another soap was created for General
Hospital ,but it was canceled after two years on TV because of low ratings.
